Star Wars Lightsaber Battle While Camping

A third video has surfaced from Sal’s Invitational Camping Weekend. Our fire had created so much smoke, that our flashlight beams penetrated the sky and lit up the night. That and the fact that our light beams looked like lightsabers! Enjoy this video, it’s a quick one but very well edited and looks amazing! And it was all shot with a Canon point and shoot! LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!

Speed Up Your 4GB PSP Memory Stick

Have any of you experienced slowness on your new 4gb memory stick? Well first you need to check if you have a fake or a real one, the biggest way on how you can tell is by looking on your Memory Stick. Make sure you have “MagicGate” on it. Another way is to download the new PSXReality Memory Stick Tester v1.0. Well here’s how you can speed up the Speed on your 4gb Memory Stick (without FAT16, or FAT, your games may lag no matter what format!) Reason is because PSP reads/writes slower on FAT32 but reads/writes faster on FAT16. 2GB is formatted to FAT16 by default and 4GB is formatted to FAT32 by default. To increase your 4GB MS speed just like your previous 2GB, you need to format it as FAT16. Now, before you flame me saying 2GB is max for FAT16, you need to research more. However, 4GB FAT16 is not compatible with lower Windows versions (Win95/98/Me/MSDos) but is perfectly compatible with PSP and WinNT and WinXP. This is due to Microsoft hardcoded max cluster to 32k on Win95/98/Me/MSD

LittleBigPlanet Release Update: DELAYED!

The following is from Sony’s Playstation site: “During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet , it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologize for any offense that this may have caused. We will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th. Sorry for the delay, and rest assured, we are doing everything we can to get LittleBigPlanet to you as soon as possible.”

Photoshop CS3 does not run on Vista

Ok, the title is a little misleading, but here’s a little problem I ran into while trying to run Photoshop CS3 on Vista. After successfully installing Photoshop CS3, I went to run the software and as the splash screen was loading it would just stop the execution and stop running. I’d get a message from Vista saying that the application could not continue to run. I found it VERY odd that very recent software would not run on Vista. So long story short, this is how I fixed it. I read someone’s forum post that Photoshop CS3 requires a physical default printer. I had not installed my printer software yet so I went ahead in installed my printer. And amazingly, after the printer was setup, Photoshop CS3 loaded and ran just perfectly. I hope this post helps someone out there.

LittleBigPlanet, first post

There’s been a lot of hype on the soon to be released LittleBigPlanet for the Playstation 3. Last Friday (Oct. 3rd) I was lucky enough to find a beta key in my Inbox! I quickly began the download which took a few hours thanks to my 249k/s internet connection. But the next morning, I quickly installed the game and entered the LBP word. I have to say that the game really is cool and is worth the hype. Users can play together in different ‘worlds’ and CREATE worlds/levels as well! More posts to follow with some video shots of the game!
