Install Ubuntu Without A CD Rom / DVD Drive

This post of for netbook owners who want to upgrade to the newest version of Ubuntu but don’t have a CD Rom / DVD drive installed in their netbook! Please enjoy this ‘how to’ YouTube video that I put together. And let me add that the video is getting ALOT of attention from YouTube viewers! Hope you enjoy it and find it useful.

The process was very simple:
1. download Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Edition
2. Burn .ISO to disc
3. Format USB key FAT16
4. Find ‘usb-creator’ on Ubuntu disc and run executable file
** be sure to select ‘discarded on shutdown, unless you save them elsewhere’ **
6. Once completed, take USB key to netbook and boot from USB
7. Follow prompts and install Ubuntu 10.04
