Hackintosh Build Update 2012

Folks, I’ve updated my hackintosh.

I’m happy to announce that I’m finally moving into the Quad processor world with an i5 processor, 2500K to be exact. Below you’ll find a component list for the easiest hackintosh build I’ve seen! Most of the items on the list below is exactly what I have. Hover your mouse over each component for a description and price!

Using the setup above will get you up and running within an hour. I didn’t even have to play with cutting and pasting EFI strings or searching and installing extra Kext files.

Video rendering is done by the CPU, get the card if you plan on gaming….or plan on working with more than 3? monitors.

This build don’t have wifi, right?

What is best in your opinion, a mother with wifi integrated (don’t know if mac support this) or a separated adapter?

I have not found a motherboard with compatible wifi. I’ve seen a solution on how to built your own airport cards…and I’ve also seen a few supported external wifi adapters.
